The game takes place in the fictional world and revolves around two protagonists named Monica and Max who come from future. It is the direct sequel to Dark Cloud and offers the similar gameplay with elements of City-building. Dark Cloud 2 (known as Dark Chronicle) is an Action, Exploration, Role-playing and Single-player video game created by Level-5.
